Childish Gambino has dropped his latest album, Atavista, which features collaborations with heavyweights like Ariana Grande, 21 Savage and Summer Walker, per vulture.com. The first music video, “Little Big Foot,” starring Quinta Brunson as a hard-nosed entrepeneuse, has been released, directed by Glover’s frequent collaborator Hiro Murai.
Gambino, also known as Donald Glover, took to X to announce that Atavista is the finished version of his 2020 album 3.15.20, promising a special vinyl release with visuals for each song.
Amidst speculations about the long-awaited Community movie, Glover assures fans that it’s still on the cards. “It’s happening but I don’t know when. I swear, it’s happening,” he confirmed, putting to rest doubts about the project’s future.
With Atavista setting the tone, it seems like this summer is all about unexpected musical twists and turns.
