The Lights, Camera, Africa Film Festival returns to live programming after a six-year hiatus, hosting a three-day public showcase at the MUSON Centre from October 1–3, 2026.
Titled “Convivium: In Gathering,” the festival features a curated lineup of African and diasporic features and short films focusing on migration, identity, family, and home.
Admission is free, though advance registration is required.
Initial film confirmations include Matias Mariani’s Shine Your Eyes (2020), Nze Ed Emeka Keazor’s Never Say Die: The History and Story of Enugu Rangers (2025), Ema Edosio’s When Nigeria Happens to You (2025), and Kachi Benson’s Madu (2024).
Additional programming spans panel discussions, music and networking sessions.
Supported by Mbari Kola: The Arts Society, the festival marks its first major physical edition in Lagos since entering operational pause in the early 2020s.
