Asake rocks London’s O2 Arena for 2nd sold-out show

Asake continues to dominate the international music scene. The Nigerian Afrobeats sensation recently performed to a sold-out crowd of 20,000 fans at London’s O2 Arena as part of his Lungu Boy World Tour.

The singer’s performance was marked by a dramatic helicopter entrance and a setlist filled with hits like “Olorun,” “Omo Ope” and “Amapiano”.

To commemorate this achievement, British actor Idris Elba presented the artiste with a sold-out plaque. Additionally, Asake received a BRIT silver plaque for his 2023 album Work of Art.

This accomplishment places Asake alongside fellow Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Davido, who have also achieved multiple sell-outs at the O2 Arena. The Lungu Boy World Tour continues through October 6, with the final show in Gold Coast, Australia.
