Usher and H.E.R. set screens ablaze with the scintillating visuals of their latest collaboration, “Risk It All.” Released on December 27 and directed by Dave Myers, the official music video features the R&B icons baring it all, both emotionally and literally, as they dance through the sultry beats in their underwear. The track is part of The Color Purple musical film’s official soundtrack, a 37-song compilation capturing the essence of the film’s narratives on risk, love and liberation.
Premiering a few days after The Color Purple hit theatres, the soundtrack had dropped a week prior, boasting contributions from various artistes, including Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, October London and Fantasia.
“Risk It All” is also a preview of Usher’s upcoming album, “Coming Home,” slated for release on February 11, 2024, coinciding with his much-anticipated Super Bowl Halftime performance. The album, his ninth studio effort, follows the release of the lead single “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage. With whispers of a world tour on the horizon, Usher fans are eagerly gearing up for an unforgettable musical journey post-Super Bowl LVIII.
