Rihanna’s musical dominance shows no signs of waning and despite not releasing a new album, the “Lift Me Up” singer achieved another milestone in her illustrious career, per uproxx.com. On May 31, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that three of Rihanna’s beloved tracks have earned diamond certification, solidifying her status with a total of seven diamond-certified titles.
This latest achievement sets two new records for Rihanna: the most diamond singles for a woman artiste (6) and the most diamond-certified titles for a woman artiste (7).
To celebrate, Rihanna took to her official X (formerly Twitter) page, sharing a custom graphic from her management, Roc Nation, with the caption, “Ain’t no back n forth.”
Among Rihanna’s diamond-certified hits are the 2007 classic “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z, 2012’s “Stay,” and 2016’s “Needed Me” and “Work” featuring Drake.
In April, her 2011 crossover smash “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris and “Diamonds” also reached diamond status. Rihanna first entered the diamond club over a decade ago with Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie” in May 2013.
Rihanna’s impressive catalogue continues to provide plenty of hits to enjoy.
