Megan Thee Stallion unveils new album ‘Megan’ during Atlanta concert

Megan Thee Stallion set the State Farm Arena ablaze on Sunday night by revealing the title and release date of her highly anticipated third studio album, “Megan,” due out June 28, per music-news.com

The announcement came as the Hot Girl Summer icon captivated her Atlanta audience with an electrifying performance.

During the concert, fans were treated to the striking album cover, which features a naked Megan emerging from a cocoon, symbolising rebirth and renewal. Following the concert, the rapper shared the artwork on Instagram, urging fans to pre-save the album.

“Megan” marks a significant milestone in Megan’s career as her first release as an independent artist. This follows her departure from 1501 Certified Entertainment after a legal dispute was settled in October 2023. She now operates under her own label, Hot Girl Productions.

The upcoming album will include her latest singles, “Boa,” “Cobra,” and “Hiss.” In a recent interview with L’OFFICIEL USA, Megan, 29, revealed that the album explores themes of renewal and rebirth, promising a fresh sound while staying true to her unique style.

The Atlanta performance came after her Friday and Saturday shows were rescheduled due to a burst water main. Megan is set to return to the stage at State Farm Arena on Monday night.
