Kunmie has released “Confession”, his latest single, which explores desire and the difficulty of expressing it, with the Nigerian singer’s lyrics following a narrator caught between longing for someone and the knowledge that she may be unavailable.
The song moves between hope and restraint, sustaining tension across its runtime through measured, intentional delivery.

“This song came from a real place,” Kunmie said. “It is about wanting someone deeply and trying to understand what to do with that feeling.”
The release builds on momentum from early 2025, when his Valentine’s Day debut single spread organically across social media, attracting covers and duets that extended its reach beyond his initial audience. That release established him as a vocalist with a soft, expressive tone and an instinct for emotional directness.
“Confession” is out now on all major streaming platforms via ONErpm.
