JAY-Z ends ‘JAY-Z 30’ tour with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort at SoFi

JAY-Z brought out Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Too $hort on October 24 as he ended his sold-out ‘JAY-Z 30’ concert series with the second of two nights at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, per hollywoodunlocked.com.

The rapper opened the SoFi run on October 23. He was joined that night by his daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, along with John Legend, DJ Khaled and Scarface.

The series began in late May with a headlining set at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, where Jazmine Sullivan, Meek Mill, Beanie Sigel and Freeway made guest appearances.

JAY-Z then played a three-night run at Yankee Stadium in New York in July. Guests included Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem, Blue Ivy Carter, Nas, Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Slick Rick and Fat Joe, among others.

In early September, he took the show overseas, with dates in London and Paris, before returning to the United States for the Los Angeles finale.

At the Roots Picnic, JAY-Z debuted new material, including a freestyle that fans interpreted as addressing several public figures. The performer has also been reported to have chosen himself for a Super Bowl halftime show, though that has not been confirmed.
