Coco Jones has released her latest solo single, “Body So Tea”, via High Standardz and Def Jam Recordings, according to udiscovermusic.com.
The track, produced by Stargate, Jasper, and Hiddie, marks the American R&B singer and actress’ return to the solo spotlight following a busy period of global touring and television roles, as well as critical acclaim for her debut album.
The release arrives on the heels of the deluxe edition of her debut full-length album, Why Not More? (MORE!), which featured the Alicia Keys collaboration “Other Side of Love”. The original project earned Jones her eighth career Grammy nomination and secured a top-10 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. It also opened at number one on both the New R&B Artist Debut and Current R&B Album Sales charts.
Jones previously achieved significant commercial success with her 2025 track “Taste,” which topped R&B radio, followed by a sold-out headline tour across the United States and Europe. Her mainstream breakthrough accelerated after signing with High Standardz and Def Jam in 2022, driven by her platinum-certified EP What I Didn’t Tell You and its chart-topping single “ICU”.
In 2024, “ICU” won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance. Jones sustained her momentum with further nominations at the 2025 and 2026 ceremonies, alongside expanding her television career by starring as Hilary Banks in the final season of Peacock’s Bel-Air and executive producing upcoming film projects.
