Goethe-Institut Nigeria will officially reopen its Lagos premises on November 4 following the completion of multi-month renovation works.
The German cultural centre, situated at 7 Anifowoshe Street in Victoria Island, will host a re-opening event running from 2pm until midnight.
The public programme, according to a statement, is set to feature live performances by international artists alongside curated contemporary art presentations designed to foster cross-cultural dialogue.
The venue’s upgrade marks a key milestone in the institute’s long-standing footprint in West Africa. Operating in Nigeria since 1962, the organisation serves as Germany’s principal cultural institute, promoting language education, international discourse and artistic collaboration across the region.
