Post Malone postpones ‘Big Ass Stadium Tour’ start to complete 40-track double album

Post Malone has postponed the first three weeks of his upcoming “Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2” to allow more time to complete his seventh studio album, per music-news.com.

Originally scheduled to begin on May 13, the tour will now commence on June 9, as the artist prioritises finishing the 40-track double project titled “The Eternal Buzz”.

The 30-year-old Grammy nominee, born Austin Richard Post, announced the decision via social media, citing a scheduling conflict between his production goals and the tour’s original start date. He informed followers that while he had promised new music, he would not have been able to complete the recordings before the initial May launch.

The singer previously indicated to Variety that although approximately 35 songs had been recorded for the project, many only featured “scratch” or preliminary vocals. He described the forthcoming material as a significant double album and expressed a desire to have the music ready before performing for audiences again.

The rescheduled tour itinerary, which features guest appearances by Jelly Roll, will now see the singer return to the stage in June. Fans holding tickets for the affected May dates have been assured that the delay is necessary to finalise the expansive new record.

Among the confirmed future dates for the tour is a performance at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater-Summerfest in Milwaukee on June 28. Further details regarding specific rescheduled dates for the initial three-week block are expected to follow.
