Korede Bello returns with 6-track EP ‘Another One’

Korede Bello has released Another One, a six-track EP that finds the Nigerian artist navigating themes of attraction and self-assurance across a range of production styles.

The EP opens with its title track, an Afropop record built on repetition and a celebratory tone. Bello uses the song to address success and romantic interest with a degree of self-awareness that sets the mood for what follows. The middle stretch of the project shifts registers: “High Me” combines dancehall grooves with relaxed vocals, while “Stylish” strips the production back in favour of quieter confidence.

“Sweet Melody” sustains the emotional momentum by rendering attraction as a near-physical sensation, before “Not Romantic” turns inward. On that track, Bello reflects on how quickly trust can erode when first impressions mislead, with production that remains light against lyrics that carry the weight of hindsight. The EP closes with “Feel,” which frames love as a force that alters self-perception.

Production credits are shared among Danny Drey, YANI and Only One Josh, whose combined work maintains cohesion across what is an otherwise varied sonic palette.

Bello, who rose to prominence as a teenage act on Mavin Records in the mid-2010s, has spent subsequent years building a body of work that prioritises craft over commercial momentum. Another One continues that trajectory, a project less concerned with breaking through than with deepening the existing relationship between the artist and his audience.

The EP is available to stream now via OneRPM.
