“Fajuyi – For Country” stage play honouring Col Adekunle Fajuyi sells out in Lagos

A tribute to commemorate the heroic legacy of Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi set to captivate audiences in Lagos on November 5th, 2023, has sold out. 

As a matter of fact, it is impossible to get the tickets for the stage play, “Fajuyi – For Country,” online on platforms like ariiyatickets.com and a host of others announced by the producers.

Joseph Edgar of Duke of Shomolu Foundation, who are producing the play, confirmed the development.

Supported by PremiumTrust Bank, the play pays homage to the valiant Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi, who sacrificed his life for loyalty and his country.

The play, written and directed by Prof Rasaki Ojo Bakare, Ekiti State Commissioner for Arts and Culture, features a talented ensemble of 70 thespians, including iconic actors Yemi Shodimu and Barbara Soky. “Fajuyi – For Country,”  according to the producers, tells the story through brilliant dance and superlative storytelling.

The Lagos shows are scheduled for 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm at the AGIP Recital Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan. This tribute to Col Adekunle Fajuyi’s legacy promises to be a remarkable event, and PremiumTrust Bank’s collaboration with the Duke of Shomolu Foundation aims to bring this significant story to Nigerians during a time of national rebirth.
