Joshua Omeke: Illuminating Nigeria’s literary constellation — Terh Agbedeh

By 2017, Omeke had amassed an impressive body of work – over 400 poems, three self-help books and a novella. Yet, his quest for literary excellence has not waned. Determined to share his craft with a global audience, he has consistently invested his earnings into publications, attended masterclasses and actively participated in workshops. 

Omeke has over the years emerged not only as a prolific writer but also as a mentor, tutoring aspiring creative minds in the art of writing. His contributions did not go unnoticed, earning him well-deserved recognition in the vibrant landscape of Nigerian literature.

With an eye on the global stage, Joshua Omeke recently presented his anthology, Joe’s Collectanea, to the world. This marks a significant stride toward his ambition of becoming a global literary phenomenon. As he stands on the cusp of releasing another title through the esteemed UK publishing house Austin Macauley, Omeke’s literary odyssey continues to captivate, inspire and leave an indelible mark on the ever-evolving landscape of world literature.
