David Swazo releases faith-centred single ‘Allah Ne’

Nigerian musician David Swazo has released a new single, “Allah Ne”, a spiritually driven track that attributes life’s material blessings, shelter, wealth and prosperity, to divine providence rather than personal effort or circumstance.

Swazo, who has developed his sound across Kano, Calabar, and Port Harcourt, works across Afropop, dancehall, reggae, gospel, and hip-hop. An ambidextrous guitarist and vocalist, he draws from the cultural range of each city where he has lived, producing music that engages both sonically and thematically with everyday experience.

“Allah Ne” is built around a series of rhetorical questions, who gave you a house, money, a car? With the answer offered as a statement of faith: it is Allah. The track holds that material conditions are neither self-made nor the product of luck, but expressions of divine will. Swazo frames the song as a personal reminder as much as a message to listeners. “Everything we have comes from Allah,” he said, “and we should never forget that.”

The single is available now on all major streaming platforms via ONErpm.
