Anya Taylor-Joy has disclosed that she coped with the death of her dog on the first day of production while starring in and producing the crime drama Lucky, per film-news.co.uk.
The 30-year-old star said the demanding night-shoot schedule, running from 11pm to 11am, complicated her grieving process.
She noted that working through the night required her to manage high adrenaline levels while fulfilling her leadership responsibilities on set.
The actor also discussed casting her husband, Malcolm McRae, in a minor cameo role after observing him record self-tapes, noting the practical benefit of sharing the screen with her partner.
Lucky features an ensemble cast including Timothy Olyphant and Drew Starkey, and is currently streaming on Apple TV.
