Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival has raised $10 million for non-profit organisations supporting women and girls ahead of its opening today (August 29) at Great Park in Irvine, California, per nme.com.
Inspired by the 1990s Lilith Fair music festivals, the single-day event features performances across two stages from artists including Chappell Roan, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage and special guests Stevie Nicks, Karen O, and Sarah McLachlan.
Rodrigo stated that the event was created to celebrate the power of collective support, noting her gratitude to ticket buyers, participating artists, and sponsors.
Proceeds will benefit organisations such as Planned Parenthood, Baby2Baby, the National Women’s Law Center, and the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.
In addition to music, the festival provides educational resources, community art installations, and fan pop-ups focusing on reproductive rights, maternal health, and gender equity.
Rodrigo has a history of advocacy for reproductive rights, having launched an initiative in 2024 and previously distributed reproductive health information and emergency contraception during her Guts world tour.
The festival follows recent lineup adjustments, including the withdrawal of group KATSEYE due to an injury. Rodrigo will embark on her Unraveled world tour next month.
