Mr Eazi has unveiled his highly anticipated new project, the Maison Rouge EP. This seven-track solo project is an intimate homecoming to the Grammy and Latin Grammy award-winning musician and creative innovator’s signature Banku Music sound, a mellow fusion of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord sensibilities, and serves as a love letter to his day-one fans.
Named after the Cotonou house where he lived while crafting the new music, the Maison Rouge EP is designed to evoke the warm, soulful glow of early Afropop essentials like “Skin Tight” and “Bankulize.”

Mr Eazi, known for his resonant, story-first songwriting, balances this nostalgia with inventive contemporary soundscapes, reconnecting with his core audience while welcoming a new generation into his Banku Music universe.
The project’s sonic palette is rich with warm grooves, palm-wine motifs, and lilting guitar work. The lead track, “Violence,” produced by frequent collaborators P.Priime and E.Kelly, unfurls on a mellow Afrobeats groove, delivering a quintessentially romantic Mr Eazi vibe.
Other highlights include: “Make E No Tey,” a buoyant, body-moving rhythm that brings pure sunshine, “Busstop,” which channels upbeat Ghanaian hiplife into a kinetic Afrofusion earworm built for radio and dancefloors, and “Casanova,” a cheeky ode to choosing commitment, produced by TXMO and Kel-P.
With over two billion streams and 15 million social media followers, Mr Eazi frames Maison Rouge as a full-circle reset. It is his seminal sound presented with renewed intention; intimate, romantic, and resolutely authentic. As the artiste and entrepreneur stated, Maison Rouge is more than a collection of songs; it’s a house of memory and melody where the global star reconnects with why he started.
The EP’s release follows Mr Eazi’s critically acclaimed debut album, The Evil Genius, and solidifies his role as an artiste, entrepreneur through his emPawa Africa ecosystem, and a global advocate for African creativity.
