The long wait is over. Today, world-renowned Nigerian producer, artiste, and DJ Sarz has officially stepped into his own spotlight with the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Protect Sarz At All Costs. Available now through UnitedMasters, the 12-track project is a bold, border-blurring statement, solidifying Sarz’s position as a sonic architect at the forefront of the global music scene.

A trailblazer of the Afrobeats movement, Sarz has spent years shaping the sound of hits for global superstars like Wizkid, Beyoncé, and Chris Brown. His first full-length album, however, reveals a deeper, more expansive vision, pulling together an eclectic, international roster of talent that includes Gunna, Asake, Fireboy DML, Wizkid, Lojay, Libianca, Skillibeng, and more.

In a statement about the project’s ambition, Sarz explained the cultural significance woven into the tracklist. “This project is a reflection of my journey, my culture, and the sounds that have shaped me,” he said. “My hope is that no matter where someone is in the world, they can hear this album and feel an undeniable connection to the music. Like an artifact that is worth protecting, at its core I want this album to celebrate the trailblazing African artists who continue to push boundaries and evolve the sound.”

Protect Sarz At All Costs is a masterclass in genre fusion, a journey that weaves together rhythms from across continents. The tracks showcase Sarz’s impressive range and ability to craft diverse soundscapes.

On “Mademoiselle,” the sound dances on island-inspired rhythms, playfully intertwined with French language verses. “BMF” is a smooth, melody-driven ode to the beauty and strength of the African woman, featuring Fireboy DML.”Nice & Slow” fuses sultry jazz undertones with African percussion, crafting a sensual soundscape alongside Wurld. The high-energy “Up” channels the euphoric spirit of European club culture, showcasing the producer’s knack for kinetic, pulsating tracks.

The album is not just a collection of songs; it’s a cultural statement that celebrates Africa’s enduring and growing influence on global music. From the star-studded opener “Grateful” featuring Wurld and the Ndlovu Choir, to high-profile collaborations like “Happiness” with Asake and Gunna, and “Getting Paid” featuring Wizkid and Skillibeng, Sarz is positioning himself not only as a hit-maker for others but as a creative force stepping confidently into the spotlight he has earned.

With the release of this highly anticipated debut, Sarz, who is also the founder of The Sarz Academy Foundation which develops emerging talents, is ready to be celebrated as the legendary artist he is, ensuring that his sound is protected and preserved At All Costs.
