Anne Hathaway is set to headline the Amazon MGM Studios feature film “Verity,” based on Colleen Hoover’s suspenseful novel that captivated readers nationwide, per hollywoodreporter.com.
Directed by Michael Showalter, the film follows struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, who is hired to complete a book series for an incapacitated author, Verity Crawford, played by Hathaway. As Lowen delves into the project, a mysterious unfinished manuscript threatens to unravel dark family secrets.
