‘Pitch Perfect’ stars reunite at ‘Woman of the Hour’ premiere

In a dazzling display of Hollywood glamour, Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut, Woman of the Hour, premiered in Los Angeles on Thursday, reuniting the star with her Pitch Perfect co-stars Chrissie Fit and Kelley Jakle, per .upi.com. The trio, known for their harmonious on-screen chemistry, struck a chord on the red carpet, with Kendrick and Fit donning sleek black pantsuits while Jakle opted for a chic pale blue ensemble.

The Netflix crime thriller, set to stream from October 18, draws inspiration from the chilling true story of Rodney Alcala, infamously known as “The Dating Game Killer.” Kendrick, who also stars in the film, portrays an aspiring actress whose path fatefully crosses with Alcala (Daniel Zovatto) on the set of “The Dating Game” in 1970s Los Angeles.

Jakle, expressing her pride in the project, took to Instagram to laud Kendrick’s directorial prowess. The film, which also features Nicolette Robinson and Tony Hale, promises to deliver a gripping narrative that blends the glitz of game shows with the dark undercurrents of true crime.

As the Pitch Perfect alumnae harmonised once more, this time off-screen, their reunion added a touching note to Kendrick’s directorial milestone.
