Bruce Willis makes rare appearance at daughter Tallulah’s wedding

Bruce Willis made a rare public appearance as his youngest daughter, Tallulah Willis, married musician Justin Acee on Saturday in Sun Valley, Idaho, amid his ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia, per parade.com

The 71-year-old actor, who has largely withdrawn from public life since his diagnosis, was photographed with his arm around Tallulah ahead of the ceremony. The black-and-white image, shared by Vogue on Friday, August 14, showed her leaning into him before joining hands with Acee.

Her mother, Demi Moore, stood nearby for the family moment. The appearance offered a rare glimpse of the Die Hard star surrounded by family for the milestone.

Willis’s family announced his aphasia diagnosis in spring 2022, before confirming in February 2023 that it had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, or FTD, a condition that affects communication and behaviour.

His wife, Emma Heming Willis, has continued to provide updates on his health. In an ABC interview last year, she said he remains mobile and in good overall health.

“Bruce is still very mobile. Bruce is in really great health overall, it’s just his brain that is failing him,” she told Diane Sawyer.

She has said Willis continues to recognise her and their children, including their two daughters Mabel and Evelyn, and remains closely involved with his family.

The wedding photos prompted an outpouring of reaction from fans online, many of whom noted how significant it was for Willis to be present.
