Rihanna is gearing up for her Super Bowl Halftime Show later this month and reports from those close to the artiste are saying that it is the start of her comeback, Hypebeast reports.
The outlet further states that fans will be excited to hear that this might not be Rihanna’s only performance this year. As between Beyoncé and Lil Wayne‘s stadium tours, Rihanna’s addition will keep music fans busy this year.
The Sun reported that following her headlining performance at the Super Bowl, Rihanna is slated to announce a full comeback, “including new music and a tour across North America later this year.” Fans across the Atlantic will also get a chance to see her performance next year. An insider said,
“She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024.
“Her plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places.
“She wants her next global outing to be swift and easy as she plans to refocus on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty after her brief return to music.”
Rihanna has not toured since 2016 but paparazzi photos have shown the 34-year-old artiste working hard in the studio recently. The artiste has always hinted that she is working on new projects, but there is no exact timeline on a new album.
