Orezi has released a new single titled “Ws,” the latest output from one of the country’s more durable acts, with the artist having maintained a presence in the music industry for over a decade.
The song takes its central conceit from internet vernacular, “Ws” being shorthand for wins, and applies it to a meditation on delayed gratification and persistence.

Orezi has described the record’s philosophy in direct terms: “Success isn’t instant; it takes time. But when the wins come, we celebrate them together.”
Beyond the personal narrative, “Ws” extends its message outward, framing individual success within a wider communal context. The production is built for high-energy settings, while the lyrical content leans into themes of self-belief and solidarity with peers and collaborators.
Orezi has been associated with the dancehall lane of Nigerian popular music since the early 2010s, releasing a string of commercially successful records over the years.
“Ws” is distributed through ONErpm and is available on all major digital platforms.
