Obedo PF has released “Victim,” a new single that navigates emotional conflict within a romantic relationship, examining what it means to remain committed while feeling consumed by the experience.
The track opens with an admission: the artist is caught between love and pain, questioning his choices while unable to let go.

The central tension, protecting a partner at the cost of one’s own peace, runs through the record, which moves between care and frustration without fully resolving either.
“This song came from a real place of reflection,” Obedo PF said. “Sometimes you love someone and still feel like you are losing yourself in the process.”
The production reflects that ambivalence. A recurring chorus reinforces the sense of being caught in something beyond the artist’s control, while the verses articulate a longing for clarity and stability.
Obedo PF has built a following in Lagos through music that draws on everyday pressures, relationships and survival, working primarily within an Afro-fusion sound. “Victim” continues that approach, favouring emotional transparency over resolution.
The single is now available on all major streaming platforms via ONErpm.
