2. Why? I was 17 when I read it. My bouts of teenage angst became insignificant after I read it.
3. Last book read? Tade Thompson’s Making Wolf.
4. Packing for a journey and allowed to take one book. What will it be? Collected poems by Anne Sexton
5. Why? Her work inspires an exercise in self-exegesis which can be both exhilarating or hugely depressing.
6. Who is your favourite author/writer? Probably Toni Morrison.
7. Do you think Nigerians read? Yes or No? Yes. We sell a lot of books at Ake Festival.
