Mr Eazi & King Promise release collaborative album ‘See What We’ve Done’

Music stars Mr Eazi and King Promise have released their debut joint album, See What We’ve Done, through emPawa Africa.

The nine-track project is the culmination of a long-standing friendship and professional relationship between the two West African artists.

The album features a diverse production team, including Grammy award winners GuiltyBeatz and KillBeatz, alongside JAE5 and AoD. The record moves through a variety of genres, blending Afrobeats with R&B and pop.

Lead singles from the project, such as the Backstreet Boys-inspired “That Way” and the melodic “Mariana”, have already secured more than 30 million streams globally. The tracks have charted in 11 territories across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

The tracklist opens with “Where Have You Been?”, described by the artists as the oldest recording on the project. Other notable tracks include the dancehall-influenced “Mad Ting” and the anthem “No. 1 Fan”, concluding with the title track which reflects on their shared career growth.

Mr Eazi, a Latin Grammy winner and founder of the emPawa Africa ecosystem, has accumulated over two billion streams throughout his career. King Promise, known for his highlife and R&B fusion, recently found international success with the hit “Terminator” and his third studio album, True To Self.

According to the artists, the project is intended to celebrate their creative alignment and the continued expansion of African pop music into global markets.
