Madonna’s Celebration Tour in jeopardy as she battles severe bacterial infection

Madonna is currently recovering from a severe bacterial infection that resulted in hospitalisation last week.

The 64-year-old legend is reportedly confined to her bed as she battles her health issues, highlighting the severity of her condition, leaving The Celebration Tour’s future in question.

Her stay in the intensive care unit after developing the infection last Saturday is feared to have been more serious than was originally imagined.

While she has returned home and is “feeling better,” she remains under medical care as she continues to recover.

Madonna has postponed her upcoming tour as a result of her illness. Her manager, Guy Oseary,  has stated that she is expected to make a full recovery, but it is unclear how severe her diagnosis is. Bacterial infections can be caused by different sources, and there are different types of bacterial infections that could require medical care. Recovery periods for bacterial infections can vary from days to weeks to months, depending on the type of infection and the individual’s health status.
