Layzie Bone has stated that he was left entirely in the dark regarding his exclusion from the ongoing Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour, learning of his absence just one day before it began, per complex.com.
In a video shared on social media, the founding member addressed fans who criticised him for not performing alongside his Bone Thugs-N-Harmony bandmates on the North American trek. The rapper maintained that he had prepared his luggage and merchandise for the tour, asserting that his exclusion was not his decision.
The artist acknowledged experiencing minor business disagreements with group members earlier in the year, but believed those matters were resolved following the group’s Hollywood Walk of Fame recognition. While admitting he was not entirely satisfied with all financial arrangements, he insisted he fully intended to participate and blamed management for cutting him out at the last minute.
The collaborative tour pairs Wu-Tang Clan with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, with Wu-Tang’s RZA indicating the outing will mark the legendary hip-hop collective’s final run of performances.
The remaining members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have not yet issued a public response to Layzie Bone’s statements regarding the tour, which runs through early October.
