Jennifer Aniston set to tell all in potential $20m memoir

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly preparing to write a tell-all memoir to share her life story in her own words, following encouragement from her partner, wellness guru Jim Curtis, per heatworld.com.

Industry insiders suggest the 57-year-old star of The Morning Show could command a $20 million advance for the book, which she intends to write without the assistance of a ghostwriter.

The potential publication follows years of hesitation from the Friends actress, who has reportedly been journalling her experiences for decades. According to sources close to the star, her relationship with Curtis, 50, has provided the necessary confidence to finally pursue the project. Curtis, who has authored three self-improvement books, has reportedly spoken of the liberation of writing, helping Aniston heal and process past difficulties.

The proposed memoir is expected to address several high-profile aspects of Aniston’s life, including the breakdown of her marriages to Brad Pitt in 2005 and Justin Theroux in 2018. It is understood that the book may offer her perspective on long-standing speculation surrounding Pitt’s relationship with Angelina Jolie during the filming of Mr & Mrs Smith, an affair Pitt has previously denied.

Beyond her romantic history, the book is anticipated to explore her estrangement from her late mother, her well-documented struggles with fertility and IVF, and the tragic death of her former co-star Matthew Perry in 2023. Insiders note that Aniston’s primary challenge will be moving past her need for perfection to deliver a completely candid, flawed account of her life.

Aniston has previously alluded to the possibility of a book. In August, whilst discussing the intense media scrutiny surrounding her 2005 divorce from Pitt, she recalled having once described him as missing a “sensitivity chip”, later joking that the comment was “one for the memoirs”.
