GloRilla has paid a Halloween tribute to Ciara, recreating the singer’s 2004 Goodies album cover and the 2005 “Like You” music video with her boyfriend, NBA player Brandon Ingram, per complex.com. The Memphis rapper shared the looks on Instagram on Friday, October 30.
In her first tribute, GloRilla recreated the cover of Ciara’s debut album, Goodies, wearing a pink hoodie, long flowing hair and a cross necklace.
She then enlisted Ingram, who plays for the Toronto Raptors, to portray Bow Wow as the couple re-enacted the elevator scene from Ciara and Bow Wow’s 2005 “Like You” video. The pair wore matching shimmering tiger-graphic Ed Hardy T-shirts, echoing the original visual.
GloRilla captioned the post with a lyric from the song: “Cause Ian never had nobody do me like youuuu.”
The tribute followed Ciara’s 2024 Halloween costume, in which the singer dressed as GloRilla and recreated the rapper’s viral Complex interview with Speedy Morman, complete with large hoop earrings and a “YWR” chain. GloRilla publicly praised the look at the time.
The two artists previously worked together in 2022, when GloRilla featured on the remix of Ciara’s “Better Thangs”.
The exchange highlights a continuing mutual appreciation between the two performers, with GloRilla’s costumes returning Ciara’s earlier homage two years after it was first shared.
