Ciara releases “Yes” to mark 10th wedding anniversary with Russell Wilson

Ciara has released a new single, “Yes,” to coincide with her 10th wedding anniversary with NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, per ratedrnb.com.

The song, issued on her Beauty Marks Entertainment label, is billed as a celebration of ongoing commitment.

Co-written with Courtlin Jabrae, Rachel West and Thom Bridges, “Yes” is described by the singer as an anthem about choosing love continually rather than a single moment. The track’s lyrics include: “You don’t do no rushin’, you take it slow / Never run out of love, it’s all I want,” from the second verse.

Ciara and Wilson announced their engagement in March 2016 and married on July 6, 2016. On July 6 this year Ciara posted an Instagram message to Wilson marking their 10‑year milestone, writing that she would “say Yes all over again” and praising their life together.

“Yes” is Ciara’s first musical release since “Nice n’ Sweet,” a collaboration with MOLIY released in November 2025. That single followed the expanded CiCi (Deluxe) album, which arrived three months earlier and added four bonus tracks, including collaborations with Diamond Platnumz and a remix featuring Normani and Teyana Taylor.

The standard edition of CiCi was released on August 22, 2025 and featured contributions from Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Lil Baby, Tyga, Latto, Big Freedia and BossMan Dlow.
