Cardi B threatens to cancel Atlanta performance

Cardi B has threatened to cancel a scheduled performance in Atlanta following an alleged dispute with venue staff, per music-news.com.

Taking to social media, the 33-year-old artist claimed her team was treated disrespectfully by employees at the State Farm Arena during preparations for her “Little Miss Drama” tour.

During an Instagram Live broadcast, the musician expressed her frustration, stating that venue staff were being “rude for no reason”. She told followers she was prepared to withdraw from the performance, noting that despite completing 35 shows on her current tour, she had not encountered similar issues at other locations.

The dispute continued on X, formerly Twitter, where the chart-topping star posted a message regarding the ethical use of authority. She urged those in power to lead with kindness rather than arrogance, advising them to treat others with the same respect they demand for themselves. Despite the earlier threat to cancel, she concluded her post by indicating she would see her Atlanta fans soon.

This confrontation follows previous comments from the artist regarding the frequency of public feuds in her career. Speaking recently to PAPER Magazine, she admitted that while some conflict is expected when she is “directly talking” to rivals, the constant cycle of drama remains exhausting.

The rapper, whose most recent album is titled *Am I the Drama?*, noted that controversy often finds her even when she attempts to avoid it. She suggested that her mere presence in the industry seems to provoke issues regardless of her level of engagement with others.

The incident highlights the ongoing tensions between high-profile touring artists and venue operations, where backstage conduct can impact the delivery of major live events. Atlanta remains a significant market for the rapper, making the potential cancellation a high-stakes move for both the artist and the arena.
