Nigerian singer Burna Boy has made history by winning the Best International Act award at the BET Awards for the fourth time.
The BET Awards, which recognise the best performances of the year across music, TV, film and sports, were held on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Burna Boy beat out fellow nominees Ayra Starr, Central Cee and Stormzy, among others. Chris Brown and Usher tied for the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist award, while SZA and Beyoncé each won four awards.
The ceremony also celebrated 50 years of hip-hop throughout the live telecast, which featured special musical medleys curated by Kid Capri. The full list of winners is as follows:
