British Council unveils 2-day Lagos Creative Showcase Programme

The British Council has announced the eagerly awaited Lagos Creative Showcase Programme. According to an email by the British Council’s Programme Manager, Kesiena Harry, this two-day spectacle promises to be a dynamic celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship and diversity set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos.

Scheduled for December 16-17, 2023, at the British Council on 20 Thompson Avenue, Ikoyi, the event will run daily from 12 pm to 7 pm. 

The Lagos Creative Showcase, according to the organisers, goes beyond a conventional gathering; it symbolises a celebration of innovation, artistry and the entrepreneurial spirit thriving in the community.

The event boasts an impressive lineup of activities:

-Creative Ventures: Attendees can explore a diverse array of creative products, from art and fashion to unique handmade goods at the Pop-up Market.

-Capacity Building Activities: Engage in various hands-on experiences such as Paint and Sip, Stitch and Sip, Adire Making, Silent Disco, and Pottery.

-Entertainment: Immerse yourself in live performances, music, and cultural showcases reflecting the diverse talents of Lagos.

-Networking: Connect with fellow entrepreneurs, artists, and community leaders shaping the creative landscape of the city.

-Culinary Delights: Indulge in a culinary journey with local food vendors offering a taste of authentic flavours.
