Banksy reveals 3rd artwork in 3 days

A fresh Banksy mural has emerged in London, marking the third new piece the elusive street artist has unveiled in just three days, per artnews.com.

The latest artwork features three monkeys swinging on the bridge of a subway station in the eastern part of the city. Located on a bridge over Brick Lane, near Shoreditch High Street, the mural was confirmed through a post on Banksy’s Instagram account on August 7.

This new piece follows two other animal-themed works that appeared earlier this week. One depicts a black mountain goat perched on a wall support structure facing a surveillance camera near London’s Kew Bridge, while the other shows two elephants facing each other on blocked-out windows in Chelsea.

Banksy’s posts have not included captions or titles, sparking online speculation about the artist’s intended message.

The murals have drawn immediate attention from fans and will likely require additional protection. In March, a Banksy mural in northern London depicting a woman with a pressure washer was defaced shortly after its debut, leading the building’s owner to install protective measures.
