Tems announces debut album ‘Born in the Wild,’ world tour

Tems has announced the release date for her highly anticipated debut album, “Born in the Wild,” per consequence.net. Set to drop on June 7 via RCA Records/Since ’93, the album promises to be a musical journey like no other. 

Following the success of her two EPs, For Broken Ears and If Orange Was a Place, Tems’ debut album will feature her latest single, “Love Me JeJe,” which pays homage to Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 Nigerian classic of the same name.

Tems is also embarking on a world tour to support her album, with stops across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. The “Born in the Wild World Tour” will kick off in London on June 12, with European cities like Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam on the list.

For her North American fans, Tems will start her tour in Miami Beach on August 22, making her way through major cities like New York City, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC before heading to Australia.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale via Ticketmaster on May 17, with a Live Nation pre-sale beginning on May 15th. For international dates, fans can head over to viagogo.

Having already made a mark with hit singles like “Essence” with Wizkid and Drake’s “Fountains,” Tems is ready to take the world by storm with her debut album and world tour. With her unique sound and powerful voice, Tems is definitely an artiste to watch out for in 2024.
