Myles Smith has announced the upcoming release of his debut studio album, “My Mess, My Heart, My Life,” following a breakout period marked by more than one billion Spotify streams for his hit single “Stargazing,” per esquire.com.
The 28-year-old Luton-born singer-songwriter, who built his initial audience via TikTok before transitioning to major European stadium tours, confirmed the record will debut on June 19.

The album represents a definitive shift from viral singles to a structured body of work, compiled over three years of writing on tour buses and in temporary studios. Executive-produced by close collaborator Peter Fenn, the project balances Smith’s trademark anthemic choruses with deeply autobiographical song-writing that explores his personal history.
The tracklist includes established streaming hits alongside highly personal new material. The opening track, “My Mess,” addresses his upbringing in a volatile household, while “Grandma’s Place” serves as an ode to his paternal grandmother’s London home, which provided stability during his parents’ separation. The album also features collaborations, including “Drive Safe” with Niall Horan.
Smith’s musical trajectory began in Luton, where he taught himself guitar and piano using online video tutorials after his school received arts funding. By age 12, he was performing on the local pub and club circuit. He maintained his musical career whilst earning a sociology degree from the University of Nottingham and subsequently establishing a business-management consultancy, challenging the narrative of an overnight success.
The upcoming launch coincides with an extensive touring schedule. Smith is currently performing across North America supporting Ed Sheeran on his Loop tour, whilst simultaneously playing his own headline dates. His subsequent solo headline stadium tour in November includes a compiled itinerary that has already sold out venues such as London’s O2 Arena.
Smith’s transition from digital content creation to mainstream industry recognition highlights a broader shift in modern music distribution. His rapid ascent was validated by winning the Brit Rising Star Award and being named the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year, alongside a regular presence on international charts, including topping the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart with “Nice to Meet You”.
