Lydia Jazmine has released a new single, “Ameenallah,” a faith-inflected R&B track that marks her latest offering after more than a decade in East African music. The song is available now on all major streaming platforms via ONErpm.
The track centres on the intersection of romantic and spiritual devotion, with lyrics moving through shared struggle, gratitude, and perseverance. The repeated Arabic phrase “ameenallah,” meaning roughly “God willing,” anchors the song as both a refrain and a statement of surrender.

Production is restrained throughout, foregrounding Jazmine’s voice rather than competing with it. The arrangement favours atmosphere over embellishment, reinforcing the song’s contemplative register.
“It’s about trusting love and trusting God at the same time,” Jazmine said. “That balance is everything.”
Known for her range across Afrobeats, R&B, and Dancehall, Jazmine has built a following across Uganda and the wider East African region. “Ameenallah” is distributed through ONErpm.
