Little Simz embarks on North American tour

Simbiatu “Simbi” Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, widely known by her stage name Little Simz, is making waves on both sides of the Atlantic. The British-Nigerian rapper, singer, and actress is all set to kick off her highly anticipated “No Thank You” tour in North America from September to October.

Little Simz, who first gained recognition for her impressive lyricism and unique musical style, has had an extraordinary career. Her initial three albums were all independently produced through her music label, Age 101 Music. Her debut album, “A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons,” released in 2015, received acclaim from notable artists, including Kendrick Lamar.

In a creative twist, her second album was a concept piece inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This album was accompanied by a comic book, an art exhibition, and even a festival, showcasing Little Simz’s multidisciplinary approach to her art.

Describing her music as a fusion of rap and experimentation, Little Simz draws inspiration from various genres, including reggae, blues, synth-rock, and jazzy R&B. Her musical journey was heavily influenced by rap legends such as Busta Rhymes, Nas, and Biggie Smalls, with Lauryn Hill serving as a profound source of inspiration.

Beyond her musical prowess, Little Simz has achieved success in the acting world. She made her debut in the BBC children’s series “Spirit Warriors” in 2010 and notably starred in the Netflix revival drama series Top Boy.

Now, as she takes her talents to North America, fans on this side of the world are in for a treat. The “No Thank You” tour promises to be an electrifying experience for both longtime admirers and new fans.

The tour culminates with two shows in New York, NY. On October 12, Little Simz will grace the stage at Brooklyn Steel, followed by a performance at Terminal 5 on October 13. Doors open at 7 pm, with the show starting at 8 pm.

Tickets for these events are priced at $48 and are available on Little Simz’s official website [here](https://www.littlesimz.com/). The shows are open to those aged 16 and above.
