Kcee & Olamide reunite on ‘Idi Bad’ after decade apart

Nigerian singer Kcee has released a new single, “Idi Bad,” featuring rapper and singer Olamide, the pair’s first collaboration in more than a decade.

The track, produced by Jay Synths, blends traditional highlife elements with contemporary Afrobeats, incorporating laid-back guitar riffs and Afro drum samples.

Its central theme is the admiration of African women, with both artists expressing appreciation over the song’s rhythm-driven production.

Kcee, whose full name is Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, rose to prominence as one half of KC Presh before establishing himself as a solo act known for fusing highlife with modern Afrobeats. Olamide, one of Nigeria’s most prominent voices in street-hop and Afropop, needs little introduction to pan-African audiences.

“Idi Bad” is now available across major streaming platforms through ONErpm.
