We have travelled a long way since our independence 60 years ago and though the road has been rough with challenges big and small, the journey has left us stronger, more knowledgeable and resilient in our determination to forge on.
As we celebrate today as a nation, we do not look at our failings and setbacks but
we look at the small victories and achievements we have made regardless.
