Goethe-Institut celebrates artistic collaboration in “An Evening in Ten Cities”

The Goethe-Institut is hosting a remarkable event, “An Evening in Ten Cities,” celebrating the culmination of a unique artistic collaboration between writers and artists from 10 cities across Africa and Europe. 

The highlight of the evening will be the book launch of “Ten Cities,” with esteemed writer and artist, Mallam Yahaya Mudi, from Nigeria, taking centre stage.

On Sunday 30th July 2023, the renowned Jazzhole at 168 Awolowo Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos, will be the venue for this enchanting evening of music, dance and more. 

The event will begin at 5 pm, promising an enthralling journey through the evolution of music and society in Lagos, Nigeria, spanning from 1960 to the present.

The Goethe-Institut invites all its friends and art enthusiasts to be part of this cultural exchange, as they celebrate the artistic tapestry woven across continents. With Mallam Yahaya Mudi’s captivating performance, this event is sure to leave a lasting impression on all attendees, making it a memorable occasion for the community.

Also, the one-of-a-kind artistic revelation gathering is Goethe-Institut’s final event before the August break.
