Elem3ntals, a music collective that formed in 2023, have released their debut EP *Maximum Composure* across streaming platforms through distribution label ONErpm.
The seven-track project spans Afrobeats, Afropop, hip-hop, and electronic music, framing the group’s stated aim of unifying distinct influences under a single, cohesive voice.
The EP opens with “Mon Amor”, a track built around themes of devotion, before shifting register with “Moves”, which the group describes as carrying a late-night, rhythmic energy.
Mid-project tracks “Focus” and “Unleash” address patience and self-motivation, while “Wahgwan” and “Stefflon Don” — the latter centred on self-worth — round out the main body of the work before the title track closes the release.
The title, *Maximum Composure*, reflects the EP’s central preoccupation. “It’s about how you carry yourself through everything,” the group said. “No matter the noise, stay composed.” The writing across the project is deliberately spare, with the collective favouring directness over elaboration.
Elem3ntals have been building their identity since 2023, working across multiple genres as a band rather than as a loosely affiliated crew. *Maximum Composure* represents their formal introduction to the wider music market.
