Gaise Baba has released his latest single “We Outside,” a powerful declaration of faith that blends worship with contemporary sound to reach believers living boldly in today’s culture.
Produced by Sess (The Problem Kid), the track fuses Afro-fusion rhythms with gospel messaging, creating what the award-winning Afro-fusion artiste calls a soundtrack for believers who “carry their light into the culture.” The song’s infectious hook—”We outside… ’cause Jesus dey my side… I no go get no fear”—serves as both catchy melody and spiritual proclamation.
The release follows a cinematic trailer featuring legendary Nigerian faith icons Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, and Apostle Babalola, delivering the message that “the fire from the altar is now in the streets.” This visual sparked widespread online conversation about faith’s role in contemporary culture.
“We’re not abandoning what’s been built,” explains Akinade Ibuoye, known professionally as Gaise Baba. “We’re taking the fire from the altar and setting the streets on fire with the gospel.”
The artiste and entrepreneur has built his reputation on bridging traditional gospel with modern sound. His previous hit “No Turning Back II” featuring Lawrence Oyor demonstrated his ability to create music that resonates across generational and cultural lines.
“We Outside” is positioning itself as a movement encouraging believers to live their faith publicly and boldly. The song challenges the notion that worship belongs only in churches, instead promoting the idea that faith should advance confidently into every aspect of culture.
The single is now available on all major streaming platforms and Gaise Baba is online at Instagram & X.
