Abuja’s literary community is in for a treat as celebrated Nigerian author and two-time Booker Prize finalist, Chigozie Obioma, headlines the next edition of In Convo, a literary conversation series hosted by Spine & Label Bookstore.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, July 19 at 3:30pm, will take place at Spine & Label’s space on the 3rd floor of Rhema Mall, Kado, opposite the NAF Conference Centre.
Obioma will discuss his latest novel, The Road to the Country (published by Masobe Books), in conversation with Abdulkareem Baba-Aminu, the bookstore’s COO and an award-winning editor, writer, and illustrator.
Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author, purchase signed copies of his books, and enjoy light refreshments.
Billed as one of the year’s biggest literary events in Abuja, the evening promises stimulating conversation and a rare chance to engage with one of Nigeria’s most prominent literary voices.
