Beyoncé kicks off UK tour

Beyoncé has officially launched her highly anticipated UK leg of the ‘Cowboy Carter’ world tour, electrifying London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night, per nme.com. The sold-out show marked the first of six dates in the capital, sending fans into a frenzy with a powerhouse 40-track setlist.

Opening with “American Requiem” from her critically acclaimed country-inspired album, Bey seamlessly transitioned into a soulful rendition of The Beatles’ “Blackbird” and a powerful take on “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The night was a deep dive into Cowboy Carter, featuring fan favourites like “Protector,” “Levi’s Jeans,” and the chart-topping ‘Texas Hold ‘Em.’

But Queen Bey didn’t stop there. She treated the adoring crowd to a medley of her greatest hits, including “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” and “Love on Top,” proving her enduring reign over pop and R&B. A poignant cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” further solidified her country crossover success.

Concertgoers raved about the performance, with one fan exclaiming, “Beyoncé gave us ENERGY! She loves us!” Another declared her “The greatest living entertainer.” Despite earlier reports of slow ticket sales in some US cities, the London stadium appeared packed, echoing the immense success of her 2023 ‘Renaissance’ tour.

With five more London dates before heading to Paris, Beyoncé is set to continue her domination, reminding the world why she remains an unparalleled force in music.
