Bob Marley’s timeless classics return to Vinyl for Legend’s 80th birthday celebration

In honour of what would have been Bob Marley’s 80th birthday on February 6, 2025, a wave of nostalgia is set to hit music lovers as some of the reggae icon’s most beloved albums are being reissued on vinyl, per uproxx.com. The project, spearheaded by Acoustic Sounds’ Analogue Productions in collaboration with the Marley family and Tuff Gong International, brings Marley’s timeless music back to life in stunning new formats.

The reissue series includes seven of Marley’s groundbreaking albums: Catch A Fire (1973), Burnin’ (1973), Natty Dread (1974), Rastaman Vibration (1976), Exodus (1977), Kaya (1978) and Uprising (1980). These records feature iconic tracks like “No Woman No Cry,” “Three Little Birds,” “Redemption Song” and “I Shot The Sheriff,” which have cemented Marley’s legacy as a global music legend and cultural icon.

Fans can choose from a variety of formats, including 33rpm and 45rpm UHQR pressings, 2LP 45rpm editions, SACD and even reel-to-reel tape. Each release promises to deliver the warmth and authenticity of Marley’s music, ensuring his message of love, unity, and resistance continues to resonate with new generations.

Set to launch this spring, these reissues are not just a celebration of Marley’s 80th birthday but also a testament to his enduring influence on music and culture worldwide. As the world spins these records once more, Bob Marley’s spirit lives on, one groove at a time.
