Tyler, the Creator’s ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ claims No. 1 on Billboard 200

Tyler, the Creator has once again conquered the Billboard 200 chart. His latest album, CHROMAKOPIA, debuted at the top spot, marking his third consecutive No. 1 album.

According to billboard.com, the album’s impressive 299,500 equivalent album units earned in its first week is a testament to its popularity and Tyler’s growing fanbase.

CHROMAKOPIA shattered several records, including Tyler’s biggest streaming week ever for an album and his largest sales week. Notably, the album achieved this feat despite being released on a Monday, limiting its tracking period to just four days.

Joining Tyler, the Creator in the top 10 is Halsey, whose The Great Impersonator debuted at No. 2. This marks her fifth top-two charting album. Kelsea Ballerini also made a significant chart entry, with “Patterns” debuting at No. 4, her highest-charting album to date.

Meanwhile, Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) experienced a resurgence, jumping from No. 44 to No. 6 following its vinyl release.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption, including album sales, streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and track equivalent albums (TEA). Luminate, the independent data provider to the Billboard charts, compiles and authenticates this data.
