Scheduled for release on February 14 via Tuff Gong/Island Records, the “Bob Marley: One Love” soundtrack is a seven-track compilation that pays homage to Marley’s timeless contributions to music and culture. For Caesar, the connection to Marley’s music runs deep, with childhood memories of his father strumming the guitar and singing Marley classics serving as early inspirations.
Reflecting on Marley’s influence, Caesar expressed admiration for the artist’s ability to convey profound messages through his music. He emphasised the importance of substance over mere aesthetic appeal, a principle that resonates with his own approach to songwriting and expression.
